The choice of location, type of apartments in Thailand and form of ownership should be based on the purpose of the purchase.
Foreigners who intend to move to Thailand do not choose tourist locations. For example, in Phuket, expats choose the eastern or southern coast for life — areas with the most developed infrastructure, many schools, hospitals, service and trading companies. Tourists rarely stop in these areas, so it is not necessary to count on profitability from renting an apartment.
Foreigners who do not plan to move permanently, but want to come to their second home in the resort from time to time, prefer private beaches and resorts without a large number of tourists and, of course, the availability of infrastructure facilities — shopping centers, clinics, restaurants and cafes. Residences in large residential complexes with service are suitable for many. For such objects, of course, it is possible to arrange rental for the time of departure of the owners, but you should not count on serious profitability. |
