I tried reseting permissions but that didn't work. I am also the administrator on the computer and i am running os 10.6. The weird thing is it just started doing this recently. i haven't used terminal for a month so something must have happened i'm not aware of. As of right now it won't let me execute any of the programs i try to run through it. If anyone knows whats wrong pleas help me out.
