We expect 4/20 homages from Nike SB, but we would have never guessed that adidas would join in on the fun this year as well. Using the Dam/Herr Adidas ZX — or the ZX 420 as its referred to here — the Three Stripes is celebrating the quintessential stoner holiday. The colorway bears quite a strong resemblance to the Skunk Dunks from the Swoosh’s side of the fence.



The Adidas ZX Träningsskor “Linen Green” is the latest colorway the Three Stripes has added to their ZX 8000 lineup. Dressed in a Linen Green, St Fade Ocean and Halo Green color scheme. This adidas ZX 8000 comes constructed in a mix of textile, mesh, and suede materials detailed with a Green contrasting accents. Finishing off the design is an Off White midsole atop a Beige rubber outsole.

Next in line is the letter X, which will be represented by the X-Ray-inspired “Inside Out” pack—a collection of Adidas ZX 8000 Lägsta Priset models featuring footprint graphics and translucent elements to channel a deconstructed aesthetic. Among the three pairs of the fittingly-dubbed “XZ 6000s” is a Bright Cyan and Chalk Coral arrangement that doesn’t seem to replicate nostalgic ZX 6000 colorways.

Instead of simply turning a preexisting Adidas ZX Rea Online this proposition opts for a new color scheme that still delivers a throwback style. The Bright Cyan textile uppers are overlapped by grey-tinted, transparent overlays throughout for an X-ray vision display of the shoe’s interior construction. These TPU applications, along with the Chlak Coral side stripes, use obvious stitching details to further the raw look.

Adding to their Shoppa Adidas ZX 8000 lineup, adidas Originals drops a new “Yellow Tint” colorway before the summer ends. Dressed in a Yellow Tint, Orange Tint, and Pulse Yellow color scheme. This adidas ZX 8000 comes constructed in a mix of textile, mesh, and suede materials detailed with a Yellow base and Orange Tint accents. Finishing off the design is a White midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole.
